Tourism was multiplied by 5 between 2000 and 2011 and the country has managed to update its hotels as well as air and road infrastructures depending on the needs and demand. Cambodia has a distinct asset: its cultural heritage. Indeed, two sites are classified on the Unesco’s World Heritage List: Preah Vihear temple and the very famous Angkor, with its park and two stunning temples. The national reserves, the Mekong riverbanks, and Lake Tonlé Sap (to cite only a few) also deserve a visit.
 
The country still does not have many facilities dedicated to the setting up of congresses and conventions but some cities such as Phnom Penh and Sihanoukville have started works to enhance their capacity and host bigger scale events. The country’s biggest congress center, Angkor COEX Convention, is located in Angkor and is equipped with all the required technical facilities for a quality event.
